Studying B.Sc (Nursing) at AIIMS Delhi has been a fulfilling experience for me. We get hands-on training very early on, which is a huge plus. The internship is part of the course and lasts for six months, and we actually get to earn around Rs 13,000 during that time. The hostel facilities are decent too, with basic amenities provided. While I find some parts of the curriculum a bit irrelevant, the overall learning experience is worthwhile, especially with the opportunity to become a nursing officer after passing the NORCET exam.

B.Sc Nursing is a professional course, and similar to MBBS, it requires both study and practical experience. It's not just about theoretical knowledge; skills are crucial in the medical profession. If you have the opportunity to pursue B.Sc Nursing at institutions like AIIMS, Military Nursing Services, or state government hospitals with a high patient load, you'll gain excellent exposure to various cases. This experience will enhance your hands-on skills for the procedures you need to perform as a nurse.

So, getting admission to AIIMS, New Delhi, is indeed a fantastic opportunity!

Absolutely! AIIMS Delhi is not just good; it’s one of the best choices for pursuing a B.Sc in Nursing. The name AIIMS itself carries immense recognition. If you have the opportunity to secure admission in their nursing program, seize it! Graduates from AIIMS often land impressive jobs in a short span of time.

However, there is a significant drawback: the program is exclusively for female candidates. Males are not eligible to apply, which raises concerns about gender discrimination that has faced considerable criticism.

AIIMS Delhi is a fantastic choice for pursuing B.Sc (Nursing). The curriculum covers essential subjects, but honestly, some topics like anatomy and physiology can feel a bit overdone for nursing. The good part is that we get to start clinical practice in the wards from the second month of our first year, which is super helpful. The exam difficulty is manageable too. Plus, the internship at AIIMS is a great experience, and the stipend we receive during our six-month internship is around Rs 13,000, which is decent.
