I am a Computer Engineering student at Parul University, Vadodara, and this course is actually very nice! B.Tech in CSE is a 4-year degree that combines subjects like AI, data science, and programming languages such as Python and Java. The university has over 15 laboratories equipped with software like MATLAB, MySQL, and Visual Studio, providing plenty of practical work. Most professors are good, with some having experience from top colleges like IITs, though there is room for improvement with a few.

Placements are excellent—85% of CSE students receive job offers, with average packages ranging from 4.5 to 6 LPA, and some even exceeding 30 LPA at companies like TCS, Infosys, or Amazon. Each year, they host several tech fests, including Projections and hackathons, making it more than just about studying. The cost is around 1.6 lakh per year, but there are scholarships available for good 12th-grade marks (30-40k off). The hostel food is average, and the rules are somewhat strict, but the NAAC A++ accreditation and international exchange programs make Parul University a great choice!
