The college infrastructure is good but a mostly not maintained properly and the development is also very slow. The administration is very casual about the development of the college. But situations are likely to improve with recruitment of new principal and training and placement officer.

The college is under the direct control of Burdwan University and autonomous so the course is decided by the college itself. The course is very much comparable to any other reputed college in the state. The exam is held by the college itself under the supervision of the Burdwan University.

The college is lagging in terms of its palcement records. There have been very few placements since the past three years due to absence of a placement officer. But situations are improving with the new recruitment of a placement officer. The college does not provide any internship opportunities for the students. Students have to arrange internships for themselves.

There is techfest every one or two years. Annual cultural fest is also held. Sports day might be held if the students are persistent. Intercollegiate tournaments might be held if the students insist.

Its a self finace college. The fees structure 27500 rs. It's quite less than any other private colleges. But the fees structure is quite higher than any other government colleges. I feel the fees structure is a little expensive as per the services provided.

The college has a TWF quota in which the college fees is very less which given on the basis of wbjee rank through wdjee counseling. The college also has freeship in which is given on the basis of marks in class twelve.

The host lots of cultural events thought out the year on the efforts of the student committee.There good lab facilities. The instruments are a little less maintained and some labs has insufficient equipment.

Yes I have opted for hostel. There are four hostels in total. One for the girls , one for the first year boys which is outside the college campus and the other two hostel buildings are for boys from second year to fourth year.

The alumni work is not up to the mark. Many effort aha been taken to improve them but all in vein. Senior students mostly ignore the college after they passout from the college due to the bad experience.

The candidate must appear for wbjee exam and participate in the wbjee counseling. The admission is given on the basis of the wbjee rank of the candidate. Direct admission is also available only if the candidate has a wbjee rank card.

The existing facilities are good but very few in numbers. There many guest faculties with less teaching experience. The parmanent faculties are very good and very helpful. There will be enough number of classes to complete the syllabus.
