A journey worth sharing

If you can dedicate yourself to self studies then you won't get any better college then this but if you are the one who require a faculty or instructor to coach upon than this college is not for you.

The curriculum is upto the mark and we follow the guidelines provided by UGC and AICTE which permits us to atleast follow IIT level curriculum. Around 30% of the curriculum is customised where student can choose what they want to study.

We have a dedicated placement cell which look after the placements of students. For 2018 batch the university made an average package of around 5.18 LPA and the university is able to set 100% placement mark from 2013. It has tied up with around 518 companies for placements.

We have 5 events celebrated throughout the year: 1. Sinusoid: The annual tech fest organised in the month of October. 2. Ingenuity: The annual sports and cultural fest organised in the month of March. 3. TedX: As the name itself defines a legacy. 4. Convocation: The convocation ceremony for the previous batches. 5. Annual Lecture: The day when first lecture at NIIT University was commenced is celebrated as Annual Lecture day and our Vice-Chancellor take lecture on that day.

If you are rich, you are welcome. For boys its around 2.94 LPA the University Fees and 1.5 LPA is the hostel fees for triple seater rooms and to get a single or double room you need to pay extra fees. Girls got a single room in around 1.8 LPA fees.

The university provides scholarship on the basis of your JEE Main Rank, your 10th + 12th Board Results + the AIP results, and it also provides a loan letter as well for getting loans with a fast pace.

You get to see around 6-7 CSE labs with proper systems and with 24/7 wifi and internet enabled. The class rooms and lecture theatres are properly connected with wifi facility. We have almost every sports except Squash and Swimming Poo. We have basketball court, 6 badminton courts, football and cricket fields, pool room and table tennis rooms. Along with this we have properly managed electronics and bio tech labs as well.

The infrastructure of the university is very good. Like its very decent and you will enjoy the beautiful green campus. The interior of the hostels is very good. You get new and modern facilities inside the premises without any compromise.

We have recently started a platform to connect with alumni and we invite the alumnus to university for a talk and also connect with freshers to share their experience. We have connected with them on all social media platforms as well like facebook page, and all. And yes they help a lot.

NIIT University has its own very unique admission process which is know as the AIP or the Admission Interaction Process. Now this consists of two parts, first is the basic 50 mins questionnaire which consists of questions related to basic communication and logic. Followed by that is the PCI or the Personal Counselling Interaction where a panel of the faculties from NIIT University interact with you and your Guardian. This interaction has questions related to your field as well as some general purpose questions as well. This is to test the confidence of the student. Once the student is done with interaction, then his/her parents interact with the panel. And I find this one of the best thing about the University because after being a private institute, students get rejected in this round for admission.

The faculty is not upto the mark. Around 80% of the faculty reside inside campus and around 20% of the faculty are really good. They deliver their best in the field but most of them are not that good. So you have to manage on your own about how to study and get the course cleared.
