Remarks
The college is good but I think parking area should be enlarged so that everyone parks in an order. Apart from that everything in our college including water problem, washrooms and the environment is totally fine.
Course Curriculum Overview
As Kakatiya Institute of Technology and science is Autonomous, the course is as their wish but it is good. The exam structure is also fine but the assignments they give are too much ie., 4 assignments should be written before each mid, totally 8 assignments for each semester. And I also think best of two should come into existence instead of average of two as the students can also do other extra curricular activities. Otherwise the total exam structure is fine.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities provided by our college are good. Apart from the companies that provides internship, our college itself doesn't provide any internship. Instead, it allows us to do internship in the given holidays.
College Events
The biggest events that are being celebrated in our college are sumshodini (Technical fest) for 3 days and Sanskriti (non-technical fest) for 2 days, one being the traditional day and the other being the western day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
When I joined in the college ie., 2016, our college was feasible but now it has rised to some extent where some people cannot afford it. The current college fee is little bit expensive than the previous years one.
Fees and Financial Aid
We get scholarships from government but there is nothing like loans or scholarships from our college. They only provide the scholarship details and register us in the scholarship list from which we get our scholarship.
Campus Life
There are many extracurricular activities in our college. We have games period apart from our study hours. We have lab sessions for practical sessions and projects, seminar presentations etc., which help us in building up our skills.
Alumni/Alumna
Our seniors also help us in building up our skills and abilities by instructing us about the necessary things. They help us in our cultural and academic activities. They also make us volunteers in their events which gives us knowledge about the event going on.
Admission
I got a seat in Kakatiya Institute of Technology and science by writing my eamcet exam. I got the required rank to join in this college but I have a doubt whether I would get CSE branch or not. Then after the allotment has given, I got CSE in Kakatiya Institute of Technology and science.
Faculty
Our faculty are good with good educational background and are also friendly. They help us not only in our academics but also in unacademic issues. We are provided with a councellor who guides us as a mentor and helps us in all issues throughout our engineering career.
