About UPES

The college has some good programmes but they are not well planned so students may sometimes stucked in a situation where they might have a thought that why they took admission in this college. But college environment is great. If you want to enjoy college life with free mind and no tension of career then UPES is the thing for you.

Course Curriculum is good but exam structure is not so well planned. It's an average college. Firstly there are projects and assignments which holds 20% weightage out of 100%, then your mid semester are there which holds 20% weightage. 20% goes to attendance and at last 40% is of end semester.

Placements are not up to the mark. And our college provide internships but they are of no use to us, so many students do their internship on their own. My experience in internships is that I've always done internship on my own only and never remain dependent on the college.

There are many events that are organized by our college 1 Paras Diwan Moot Court Competition 2 Urja Fest 3 Business Conclave 4 Parliamentary Debate Competition 5 Ignite 6 Intra Mural Moot Court Competition 7 Client Counseling Competition 8 Trial Advocacy 9 Khel Utsav So this are some of the events which are organized on national level and many colleges of different states and cities participate in this competitions

It's expensive as compare to the facilities they give in return. My course is of five years and I'm paying 6 Lakh per year. So if I sum up then my whole amount will be of 30 lakhs. So I think that it's not worth it if I couldn't get any placement.

College give the scholarships to the toppers of the batch every semester. College gives scholarships to those students also whose father is no more alive. And loan facility is also available but I've not proper idea about it.

The are good enough but they don't provide funds to represent college in other universities or their fest. If you are going to represent your college in other university competition then you have to bare all your expenses and the reimbursement will only be given to you if you stood first in the competition.

I'm right now in 3rd year. I've lived in campus hostel in my 1st year after that I started living outside the campus. The reason of mine for living the hostel was that I didn't like the food of the hostel.

Yaa they organized various events for alumni in different cities, so that they remain connected to them. Alumni network of UPES is very strong they are very well connected to them. And also lots of alumni share their experience about the college and it's after life.

By CLAT score. Then GD was taken, after passing the Group Discussion, the Interview was taken and then after 5 days list was announced of selected students. I think that selection criteria of this college is very liberal so any person can take admission in this college. When your session starts over here you will see many students comes from various states and cities. The best thing about this college is it's environment and beauty of the nature. I feel like it's one of the beautiful campuses in terms of infrastructure.

Very few faculties are good and experienced in this college. And many of the faculties are young, so they have no experience in teaching. Some faculties are here with so good experience. The faculties comes to this college to gain experience only not with the purpose of teaching.
