Remarks

The non teaching staff of the college is somewhat I find non cooperative also even the college has 3 floors biggest library in the DU but the library staff is not that much supportive.Rest the college is perfect.

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams are conducted as per Delhi University norms. The college follows the cbcs pattern to conduct it's exams in every six months. Wherein written paper comprises of 75 marks and rest concluded with the internals.

Placement Experience

The college has its own placement cell named as prospicio. Every year more than 1000 companies come to college campus to provide placement to the students on the basis of aptitude test and interview. College also provide with good internship which provide good stipend and letter of recommendation.

College Events

Ullas- the annual cultural festival is a two day festival which comprises of celebrity night and dj and bands. Shubhanjli- the annual Diwali mela college open for all DU student Fashion shows, theatre shows, Western dance, photography, trips etc are conducted in the college at a very upgraded level

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is very very feasible. For bcom program it is Rs 8500 for the whole year which is quite affordable. Also the transportation doesn't cost much as the college has well metro connectivity from all the Delhi NCR regions.Bus stop is also just in front of the college.The college has the toppest location in the Delhi which is quite safe for the college girls, adjacent to the college is gargi college which is also a girls college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides with full fee concession to economically backward students. Also the students who belong to pwd category has full concession on fees. No extra fees apart from academic fees is charged by college

Campus Life

The college has many extracurricular activities and societies which includes Western dance society, photography society, eoc club, Western music society,classical dance and music society,NCC, NSS, NSO, enactus etc.

Hostel Facilities

The college doesn't have its own hostel but it is sorrounded by many girls pgs in Anand Lok, GK, South ex, Gautam Nagar etc.These areas are the toppest areas of Delhi to live in and is quite safe and secure place for the girls.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has strong allumni network. There is an official page for all the alumnus on all the social media platforms and on college website as well.Senoirs are supportive and quite helpful to the juniors.

Admission

I got admission in the college in the year 2017 on the basis of merit list. I scored 92.75 percentage and got admission in the 3rd cut off list of the college in general category. The college release several cut off list through which the students can take admission accordingly.

Faculty

The college has an excellent faculty with highly qualified and experienced professionals. The college comprises of arts and commerce stream with a national level Ranking. The college is also famous for its journalism and mass communication courses.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

KNC, DU honest review as someone from outside Delhi

I applied for multiple other colleges in DU. Like hindi, Venky and SBSE. I was alloted by CUET according to my prefernce list.
