I think overall summary about College is i can give 4 out of 5 allover. There's some problems at college like, anavaibility of modern scientific instruments at some department, but it can be fulfilled by proper guidance and support from faculties, also there was concern about hostel infrastructure which is mitigated greatly by the concerned members so except these two I think college is really nice for overall development of student.

Here, college is under guideline of GTU(Gujrat Technological University) So, course curriculum will be decided by GTU and it will change time to time with new improvements in it. Course duration is for four years for Regular seats and three years for D2D(DIPLOMA TO DEGREE) students and Four or three years is mandatory for being eligible for engineering degree certificate.First year is common for most of branches and we are supposed to study all major engineering branches briefly and remaining year will be based on course you selected.University exam will be taken by university for each semester at the end of semester. Additionally One have to appear for college level internal (Theory + Practical ) examination for clear semester.

At LDCE Student will get chance for placement during study of their final year of undergraduation program and top National and Multinational companies Like, Reliance,TATA, Accenture,HSBC,Larcen &Turbo, Torrent pharmaceutical etc. Are coming for campus interview at college location based on reputation of college across india. Here, Student will also get chance of internship and Pre placement offers if they satisfy the selection criteria provided by companies.

List is very long to discuss about the events organised and celebrated by LDCE, Some Popular of them are as below LAKSHYA,TARANG,KAIZEN,LAA-GARBA,SAHITYA-SARITA,etc. LAKSHYA,TARANG is Basically technical base event KAIZEN is organised for final year students and they have to explain there final year project at the event.LAA And SAHITYA-SARITA are cultural based events.

By the way it's government college so, totalfee is around 5000 rupesss per annum!!!!! Yes, most of the fees will be paid by government for the study and all other college infrastructures And It is too much feasible for almost everyone if they are eligible for the Admission.

Here (Generally in india, But specifically in Gujrat) Almost for every student of middle class and lower class there's some kind of scholarship is available by the government. In engineering there's cast wise scholarship program is running like MYSY(Which can provide 50% college fee of private institutions uptown 50,000-70000).At LDCE most of students are apply for scholarships at digital India platform.

Extracurricular activities are part of life and are as important as studies and at LDCE college has its own ground for sport activities and and yearly 2-3 times sports week will be arranged by college group of NSS(National Service Scheme). One thing is that at some department of college laboratory work is not appreciable and lack of modern scientific instruments can be observed.

To be honest hostel infrastructure of old buildings was not that much appreciable, but recently renovation work and construction work of new buildings is in fully and efficiently going on so that more and more students can live around college and transportation time and cost can be reduced.

College has it's own ALUMNI group so that all the students will remain part of college.And for placement activity Alumni and senior student can be very helpful to decide your career at particular administration, Also they are very helpful to decide stream before getting admission in any branch.

An admission process at this college was completely based on ACPC(Admission Committee for Professional courses) guidelines.As College is running completely by government it will give admission as per government policy.To take adminission at this college We i had cleared Gujrat board exams with 90% merit(Maths, physics and chemistry) and also got 91 out of 360 in JEE(Joint Entrance Examination),And Got admission in chemical engineering based on rank( Which was 60/40 Percent of above mentioned marks respectively)I got my rank 2787 out of nearly 50,000 students.

To be honest most of the faculty at our college are well experienced and have an experience of teaching is averaging 15-20 years! Yes!! It is. And they are well qualified and appointed by the government after their phenomenal performance in GPSC(Gujrat Public Service Commission), which is one of top level examination at state level in Gujrat State.
