College Review

This is an institute of national importance so we have of more opportunities than other students. College is in outer area from the city so not so much availablity of daily needs.Best part of college is that it is totallyragging free campus.

Course is designed to provide technical knowledge of a particular stream which you have chosen. There are number of streams in which one can take admission according to one's rank. Course is oriented such as one can easily crack further competitive examinations like- Gate,ESE etc. and can do the job in private companies also by campus placement. In this college there will be three exams in a semester namely-Minor 1, Minor 2 and End semester exam.

Two main events Techniti and Utkansh along with other like Bharat Dhwani, Hindi Pakhwada, Athletic Fest etc. are celebrated in our college. Techniti is the fest of technology as it's name appears in which tech competitions are organised and a lot of cash prizes are given. Techniti (3-4 days)is celebrated in November every year. Utkansh is best event of North India celebrated in our college. It is of around 3-4 days. Athletic fest is also celebrated here.

Fee structure is divided in different categories. For general category student having annual income more than 3 lakh per annum is around 1,06,000 per semester which is much expensive. But general students having family income between 1lakh to 3 lakh is 76,000 per semester and fee for general category student having income less than 1 lakh is NIL which is best. Fee structure for obc students is same as above. Sc/St students can avail full fee waiver i.e. nil fee.

National scholarship schemes are available for students. College also gives scholarship to top 3 students of every branch. You can avail loan very easily during admission time. Two banks are situated in college for loan and other facilities.

Extra curricular activities includes different clubs. Avishkar club is for the invention of small racing cars. Bawre and Kalakar theatres are for the students interested in dramatics. Three dancing clubs namely Criminal'z crew, Si crew and Bhangra club(best). In sports you can have volleyball team, basketball team, cricket team, athletic's team and lot of other games. Other activities like singing, poster making, photography also run for the development of skills in students.

Yes i am hosteler. Hostel is very good providing number of facilities like free wifi, washing machines, t.v rooms, badminton court, volleyball court, sallon, computer center and much more. Infrastructure is very good of the newly made hostels but old hostels are in improvement. Hostel is also very economical and mess food is the best. Mess fee is 24,500 per semester. Hostel charges are around 2,500 per semester. Mess serves breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner with milk, banana, eggs in extra.

Alumni are very helpful and some of them serve at the highest posts of India. Every year alumni meet is organized in which they share their experiences and give advices to the ongoing students. Some of ou alumni are set with their startups like Furlenco an online furniture renting company is started by Mr. Ajitmohan of this very institute. Previous year an alumni of this college had secured 2 nd rank in ESE exam.

To get admission in this college one should have qualified JEE Mains with crl rank under 30000. This test is conducted by NTA two times in a year. It is a national level competition in which around 10 lakhs students participate and only 2 lakhs are qualified. In 2 lakh students only 30000 will get the admission.

It is an institute of national importance so the highly qualified faculty members are teaching us. Faculty members are having P.hd degree holder in particular stream from well known IIT's. Associate professor are also highly qualified and recruited based on GATE test.
