Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is easy, but not much. It’s hard like a college, and fun like a school at the same time. Faculty made the course so easy and understandable. The course made me capable enough to secure a job without fail, in fact I was approached by many media companies, but I want to explore and learn more.

Placement Experience

3.5

SBC provides a good opportunity for starting a career in the media industry by providing a sufficient amount of exposure to the students. The institute provides a lot of opportunities of internship with some of the reputable brands. A student gets easily contacted in the industry as working with the different platforms helps to build contacts in the industry.

College Events

4

SBC arranges visits to the different platforms like a radio station or a talk show in the industry so that the students can understand how the industry works. We had many field visits and guest lectures, extending the corporate exposure we got.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Annual fee for my UG program was around 2.5 lacs per annum, i.e. total course fee is around 7,50,000 INR. Though the fee structure is on a higher side, it does make sense when you get a placement in big brands.

Campus Life

3.5

The infrastructure is pretty good. The campus is not that big and also there is no sports ground either, but it provides you good classrooms and even labs are well equipped. It provides recording and dubbing studio along with editing lab for the video editing and many computer practicals.

Admission

Admission is on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the school themselves. Clearing the exam would depend upon your aptitude.

Faculty

4

The faculty members of SBC are very friendly. All the faculty members are very good and cooperative. They are very talented and experienced. They share their experiences with us and teach us about all of the aspects of the media industry.

The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Placement Experience:

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. I'm planning to do a internship in popular media House.
