Remarks
I always wanted to join the JD Institute, but has to get a job due to personal reasons. But never gave up on my dream, thus I saved and joined the diploma course in the JD Institute. Although, I have to admit it wasn’t what I hoped for, but I am not regretting my decision. It gave me the necessary edge over my competitors. The fee is quite high, but campus life and teaching is good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course helps the students to effectively use creativity in Fashion Design along with Business Management, Marketing, Merchandising, Textile Science and latest technology available in the industry. It literally changed my life.
Placement Experience
The placements are subject to the course you are pursuing at JD Institute. Overall it has the best recruiters from the fashion industry visiting the campus for hiring. The institute had an active collaboration with National Design Institute, Koefia, Indo-Italian chamber, etc.
College Events
Many fundraising activities were organised in the name of fashion weeks and various events, which was a nice thing to do. I really enjoyed participating in all the art and crafts competitions. The fashion shows could be competitive, since everyone is trying to grab attention here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee for a one year diploma in Interior designing was 177,000 INR which was insane. It sucked all my savings, but it felt worth it in the end.
Campus Life
The student are professionally trained to create a functional and quality design environment. I am glad to be a part of this college.
Admission
Admission is direct for a diploma program. All they care about is the fee, so the admission process was hustle free. I chose the college because it is closer to my house.
Faculty
Guest faculty used to take our classes. Some of them were nice, others were mean. But that’s just a personal opinion. Teaching was good in general.
