Management is bad.Placement goodGood enjoyment for student life.no internshipRelatively student for whom study is not priority they will become goons.Management supports student who wants to become goon.

I took Orissa JEE rank was 2100 Was having good placement record. Seniors gave good feedback related to my score.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure of BPUT(college is affiliated to BPUT ) is good. As far as faculty is concern,i will give 5 out of 10. There was time student used to choose OEC over NIT but that time is gone. Not so qualified faculty are there. Courses are nice but not implemented properly.

Internships Opportunities

In the period of my time there was no internship facility available. Only campus placement. TCS,WIPRO,INFOSYS are major employers.

Placement Experience

For placement I will give 7 out of 10. In brief 80 percent student will get placement. TCS,WIPRO,INFOSYS are major employers and they give offer to 60 % of the students. Packages are starting from 3lacs to 4 Lacs. Others are IBM,HP,Capgemni,Atos Origin,Igate,iflex and moreApart from core companies like Vedanta Tata telecom and others provide good offers.

College Events

Events annual function Inter college competitions in various categories fashion show and more.There is good scope for students who has good exposure to extra circular activites. They will get the chance to show their talent. Bollywood celebrities come to functions here. Management has good relation with ministers so students who has ambition to be a good leader will get chance to meet the real leader.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure not expensive than other colleges. Students often have soft corner for this college due to relatively low fees compare to same standard of colleges. One more thing is OEC is oldest private eng college in Odisha. Hostel 7 out of 10, Mess food 7 out.of 10.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship for SC/ST only. I don't know more about that. But merit scholarships is not there.

Campus Life

Gender ratio : 3:1 for boys:girlsWorkshops not impressive Earlier stage of the college was infamous for ragging of the students by seniors. That trend is still there in OEC now. Freshers more accurately girls are offended/harassed ans as college is new for them they don't object.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini network is one of the best thing here. Very cooperative and give suggestions for placement preparation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

OEC- college worth every penny

The admission process was quite simple. Just needed to appear the counselling session of ojee. One can choose ojee marks or jee mains marks for appearing in counselling. Everything was done online. The eligibility of the mentioned course was passed 12th with physics, chemistry and math with an aggregate of 45% and overall percentage more than 60%. The application form of ojee and jee mains can be found in their respective websites. Application fees of both the exams are different. Then after the results, one have to apply for the counselling process in which you have to select different colleges and different courses of your choice in your preferred serial number. And then the choices have to be locked by visiting the ojee counselling nodal center. And once any college and course have been alloted one has to visit the respective college sites for document verification and payment of fees. Condition of my college today

Placements are good untill last year this year it's impossible to tell whether the college will continue or not because the director Suprita Pattnaik takes the fees from the students from time to time but don't care about them after that even in the worst conditions like the just passed cyclone fani which almost destroyed the college she came the other day only to see what damage occured in the building and she didn't cared if the students are alive or dead...Read More
