Every thing has its pros and cons. The only negative thing about my college is its location. it situated in very native areas. Far away from the locality and Market.so if you want to buy a toothpaste you have to go for 4 km by foot. Rarely you will get a taxi.

The b.tech course is divided into 8 semester and each year there will be 2 semester. So it is 4 years course. There will several subjects in each semester. In each semester there will be a University exam.The exam consists of practical and written theory exam. The viva also took place in the practical exam. There is also 2 internal exam in each semester

After 3 years of the regular classes placement will start. In 7th semester several companies comes to hire in our college. As we are the first batch in our college so we don't have any previously record of the placement. Currently there is no opportunity of internship in my college. But I believe there will be opportunities in near future.

The people's in my college are really very cultural. Many cultural events took placed and I have also participated in those. Not only the students but the teachers also participates in the cultural programmes. There occurred several sports events in each semester. The list of events included- 1.Annual Cultural Fest - Oikotan 2. Annual Tech fest 3. Annual sports meet 4.Hostel football league 5. Cricket tournament 6.Quiz competition 7.Coading competition Etc

As this is the Government Engineering college so the fees is very low compared to other private Engineering college. You have to pay 6000( six thousand only) in each semester if you are in Computer science or Electronics engineering. But if you are doing civil?mechanical or electrical then the fee is only 3000( three thousand only).

There is several scholarship schemes for lower caste students like oasis, merit cum means But There is Also a scholarship for poor and bright students where the got half or full free ship. so that they have to pay half fee or zero fer.

Our college have really good and advanced labs which is newly designed. As I'm in Computer science department and I know the computer lab is really huge.consists of nearly thousands of super fast computers. We have our college football team, cricket team and volleyball team and they also had won many inter college tournaments. We have several clubs in music,Dance,drama,art,social activities etc where the students do their extracurricular activities.

Hostel infrastructure is really good. I will rate the hostel 4.5 out of 5.the capacity of each hostel is around 300. 4 stored building. And in each room 3 students are allocated to stay. Room are large enough. You will Also get 3 times food in the mess.

Actually we are the super senior in my college. And we help our juniors by giving our old books copies to them.clearing there doubts in each fields. Help them in every situation. Support their initiatives. We have several social media groups to communicate with them.

The admission is through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. I have appeared in Wbjee 2016 and sequred a good rank. Then I had appeared in the counselling process and got selected in the first merit list.

The faculties of our college are highly qualified and there are very helpful. The took regular classes help in doubt clearing class and guide us motivate us to be successful. Though the student to teacher ratio is low in our college but I think this issue will solve in near future.
