Remarks

The college is quite good. You get to know about the farming community of our country. You will interact with the farmers also work at the farms as well. If you want know and help the farming community of our country its a must college for u.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is same as other engineering courses. There are 8 semester exams. In each semester there is a mid-semester exam and one final semester exam. You have to pass in all subjects to go to next semester.

Placement Experience

The job scenario is quite ok. Some placement companies come like different tractor manufacturers, different irrigation releated company, different NGOs. no my college doesn't provide internship or any stipend.

College Events

College celebrates all major festivals. Biswakarma puja is the biggest event of the college it is celebrated in a grand way cultural nights also happen in this occasion. The annual cultural day function also happens.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible. It is around 4 lakh including hostel for the management seats. For free seats it is around 2 lakh. The fees are taken per semester. You have to give an amount of 50k per year extra for management seats.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes all state and national level scholarships are available here. You can apply for any of these scholarships. Also the university provides some scholarships according to merit. But you have to apply for any of the scholarship.

Campus Life

Yes the college have good laboratory facilities. Also there is a gymnasium for the fitness. Basketball court, football and cricket ground are there. Also the annual sports meet happens. Students also represent in different national level competition.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very helpful. They will help you in everything during the college stay. The alumni are present in almost every sector the helps us in many ways. Some of alumni also make u a part of their startup.

Admission

I took the ouat ug entrance exam. Then got selected according to my entrance score. Then taking consideration of 10th,12th and entrance score i got a weightage score. Then got selected to this course according to my rank in entrance.

Faculty

The faculty are really good most of them are alumni of this college. They are highly qualified. And have lots of teaching and research experience. They will guide you both academically and personally also.

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

Not that good but ok

Our college is OUAT regulated and every year it holds an entrance examination for all the colleges under its regulation. Up to rank 1500 considered as good, in which there is high chance to get admission into in at least one among the good colleges. Our college has cost sharing and general seats, in cost sharing seats college fee is more and an average 115525 per year will be the annual fee where as for general it is 60000 approximately. For the enrollment in the entrance, students can apply in the ouat official website ouat.nic.in . Besides the above two seats, NRI seats are also there which will cost around 5LPA. There is the reservation for PWD, SC, St, for Western Odisha students, green card. The admission process is offline generally. The dates and payment details will be instructed on the website of OUAT. The selection process is very opaque as the college gives preference on the cost sharing seats, and if you locked your seat you will not take part in further selection process even if with a good rank....Read More
