Engineering College.

College is an average one but it has gained some respect in Karnataka. But has failed in its infrastructure. Just one building and of for mechanical block. The canteen is also not so good. Just placements are descent. College life is totally dull. Hostel fails. And girl's hostel is 8km away from the campus and can't occupy many girls.

The course curriculum is affiliated to V.T.U. and some autonomous colleges are also here which have their own curriculum. The exam is average in difficulty. 3 internals and 1 external every semester are held. Sports is not so good here. Due to infrastructure limitations.

Placements are pretty good for cse, ise, and ece. But not so good for other branches. And college does not provide any kind of internship. Students have to manage by themselves for it. And deserving ones always get selected.

Manthan is the college fest held in March of every year. It runs for two days. Totally dull, Nobody enjoys that different cultural groups are there in college. They do some events sometimes and some competitions also like music club and Rotaract.

For comedk it's 2 lakhs and for cet it's 75,000. So it's very high for comedk students. And comparable to cet it's 3 times larger. And diff. Quotas are also applied like sc st obc. Different scholarships are also given not by college.

No scholarship or loan is provided by the college. Students have to avail loans by themselves from the bank.No financial aid is provided by the college to anyone. And everyone has to give the fee for the whole year at once.

Extracurricular activities are very few here. Labs are like okay okay. Sports are bad here cause college has no playground of its own. 2 tables of TT are put in the basement. And 4 carrom boards. Just that it. Sometimes in a year kabaddi and volleyball competition is held at the center portion of college.

Hostel charges 1.25 lakh per person. And that for 3 sharing rooms. Food is really bad here. The hostel does not provide wifi and some other basic necessities. Infrastructure is also bad. Bed bugs are common here.

The Alumni network is bad. Nobody knows where the alumni went. Sometimes colleges make up some event to call alumni and to interact with the students. They are not so helpful. As college does not take that seriously.

COMEDK is an all-India level exam 25% of the seats are filled through it. Anyone can write this exam. For Karnataka people, there is one more exam which is CET Karnataka. A person who has studied in Karnataka for latest more than 7 or more than 7years can write this exam. Then 2 counseling rounds are held each for comedk and cet.

Most are assistant professors. And faculty don't have much knowledge. Lectures are given in the English language. And nobody is proficient in that language. So difficulties are faced to understand and to communicate and as a second language Kannada is used sometimes.
