About the CIT college, Coimbatore

This college gives a good environment to learn. It depends on the students on how they utilise. I liked my college very much because of the facilities in the college.Also college has CBCS system which is very much position remarks.No negative comments. It is One of the best engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.

It is semester wise. One year has two semester (period of 6 months for one semester). There will be 2 mid semester which carries 25% of total marks and 1 final semester which carries 75% of total marks. Grades will be provided depend on our marks obtained totally.

Very good placement opportunities in our college. Company will come to our college for recruitment. All we need to do is to practice aptitude, have soft skills and courage. College allows and encourage us to go for internship and implant trainings.

There will be many clubs in our college. Best event by the dramatic club, in this Student interested in dance and join and do performance in the auditorium. Also music interested people can join music club and can do performance. Also there will be department symposium which encourages other colleges to participate in workshop and events.

Fee structure is Feasible. Less compared to other private colleges.merit student will have their fees around 22000, Self supporting students have fee around 54000. Management students will have around 75000.

In bit sindri loan facility is also available for poor students.

Yes, good labs facility is present and it helps us to learn practically. Sports facilities is present in our college and helps us to develop our physical skills and also help us to participate (in college and outside college) and win prizes in sports too. Also many extra curricular is also encouraged in the college joining in the clubs like ncc, yrc, nss, rsp, music, dance, martial arts club, arts, nature, space, film, photo clubs etc.

Yes, I have opted for hostel facility. Hostel is very much near to our college ie walkable distance only. Mess facility,canteen, water heater is present. Good water (hot,cold,normal water)and cleaned rest room facilities. In every room, it can accommodate 2 or 4 students (depend on the rooms).

Yes, every year there will be ozone day which allows the alumi of our college to come and see the college. They also help the juniors by their speech on how to achieve. Also we can get helps from senior and they clear our doubts very much friendly. They are helpful.

I have got admission in this college through Anna University counselling in 2015. We have to apply for counselling in the online. Through counselling we are asked to choose our college and department (3 choices). Availablity will be checked and one choice will be selected.

They clear our doubts and teaches very well. They provide live examples and enable us to understand and read. We can learn using the Library in our college and also we can use digital library to learn more.
