Entrance Preview
I did not take any entrance examination to admit myself in Pragjyotish College. I have scored 72.2% in my HSSLC examination. And then I got direct entry. I have taken B.Sc course and physics as my major subject.
Internships Opportunities
No there are no company come to provide internship. Because this college is a general degree college not a technical college. So no companies will come to provide internship.
Placement Experience
I have previously told that this is a general degree college, not a technical college. So no such companies have come to provide job opportunities. But the students with science background will able to got more jobs in medical and various fields.
College Events
There are many cultural and occasional festival holds in our college. Specially the annual festival of my college held along two days. All students and previous students come to participate in this festival. Also the college week holds along seven days. There are many more games will play by the students and got prize too. In cultural, 'Saraswati puja', 'Bishwakarma puja' hold in our college. More students of other colleges will come to enjoying this type of cultural events. Teachers day presentation will held in every department of our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of our college is admissible. For admission in this college the science students have to pay a sum of 6000 rupees,the arts students have to pay 5200 rupees and the commerce students have to pay 10000 rupees as commerce stream is self financing stream. In the second and third year students have to pay same fee as 1st year but a little difference. Also students have to pay a sum of 1000-2000 rupees in every semester as examination form fill up fee. No such hidden fee will be payable in our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no loan facility offered by our college. But scholarship from the govt of India for minority students will be availed. Also the SC and ST student got scholarship from various source.
Campus Life
My opinion on campus life is very awesome. In this college I have got a lot of experience. The gender ratio of our college is equal. As our colleges don't have boys hostel so I don't have any knowledge about hostel parties. The students of our college comes with various region. All are be friendly.
Alumni/Alumna
My seniors are very good and helpful. They help us in the laboratory room to perform the practical fine. They even give lessons how to better in the examination. As my opinion and reality our alumni is very friendly with us and help us a lot.
Faculty
The faculty of my college is very good. They teaches us be friendly. They help us a lot. Specially the faculty of my department physics is awesome. They are very talented and helpful. They took less time to finished the whole courses. All faculty members
