Study and faculty members are very good in this College. This is the positive point. And the negative point is that the college does not offer a healthy placement in engineering. But they offer good placement for the management students.

Civil rights is a good course. After completing the course there is a good chance to get a job in the field of construction. The course takes 4 years to be completed. There are eight semesters in these four years.

About the placement I would like to say that the placement is average in technical courses in the college. But when it comes to the management courses like BHM, BHMCT, BCA etc. then NSHM is amongst those colleges that have high placement rate.

Many events are celebrated throughout the whole year in the college campus. Starting from Netaji Jayanti in the month of January to Christmas Day celebration in the month of December, many important days and occasions are celebrated in a grand manner. The events that are celebrated are : Netaji Jayanti, Republic Day, Saraswati Puja, Vishwakarma Puja, Independence Day, Holi etc. Besides these fresher's welcoming ceremony and cultural festivals are also celebrated.

Fee structure is feasible for those who belong to middle to high income group. But it is quiet expensive for those students who belong to low income group. Those who are in low income group, can apply for student loan.

Any type of loan of scholarship was not offered to me by the college. But a student can apply for loan from any bank. The students can also apply for the scholarship that are available for them. If they are eligible that will surely get it.

Extracurricular activities are available in the college. Inside the college campus there are basketball courts, Volleyball courts, tennis courts, badminton courts and Gym. These are available for each and every student in the college. Laboratories for practical purposes are also available. Sports meet is arranged by the college administration once in a year.

I was a day scholar. And hostel facilities were not available for the day scholars. So I did not opt for Hostel facility. But as a student I know about the hostel facilities. Hostel is good and clean. There was canteen facility available for the Hostel students.

Alumni network is quiet good. Many alumnus come to visit the culture festival of the college. Senior students are very helpful. They always help the juniors in each and every way they can do. There is a good relationship between juniors and seniors.

I took admission in the college through the rank of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination, 2011. My rank was about 18000. I appeared in the counseling process and got to take admission in 5-6 colleges based on my rank. I selected this one.

Faculty members of the college was very good. They were co-operating. They used to help the students in studies. They were always there when the students required them. Every student used to respect them.
