Course Curriculum Overview

The one year Diploma course was very suitable for learning and practising the basics of cinematography. The course structure was very appropriate, where I learnt from the very basics and different uses a single lens. The learning was fun, since most of our classes were in the field.

Placement Experience

The name of the LV Prasad Film and TV academy is enough on your resume, to get you a job. The placement is nice for our institute.

College Events

We were mostly in the field during our course. The institute would organise many workshops sessions and guest lectures. We also participated in many film festivals and cinematic industry gatherings.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the LV college left me in debt. One year college fee for my diploma course was 4.12 Lacs. I took a student loan for the course since it was my childhood dream. The college is very expensive in general.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Admission

Any class 12 can apply to the course. You have to apply online/offline and then you have to appear for the counselling process. Everyone in the administration department was very helpful.

The faculty was very supportive. The best thing was that they all were experienced. They all motivated us to be creative in our approach. We had a very nice bond with all of them.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.
