College review

Overall the college is pretty good neglecting some negative points which are always there in other colleges. The study pattern is good, the faculty is knowledgeable, it conducts a lot of sports, the technical and cultural fests are pretty good. The negative point is that the college is pretty strict and it closes the gates as soon as the day starts and open it only after the college is over.

The curriculum is pretty good. We have to appear 2 semester in 1 year and in each year we have to study atleast 10 subjects. In the middle of the semester we also have to take the sessionals exams which is based on half yearly course. Everyday we either have practicals of the respective subjects or tutorial of the respective subjects.

The placement and job opportunities are pretty good for the IT sector but it's growing in case of core branches like mechanical and electrical. More companies are coming to give jobs to the cs/it department than other branches. The college first suggests you to search for your desired companies for internship , but if not allotted then they give a proper internship in a proper company suited.

Our college basically celebrates all the festivals and technical events which are there in any other colleges. From technical like cranebot, robosoccer, drone fiesta, aquacombat, catastrike and much more. The cultural events include various dance performances , singing performances and most favorite fashion show.

The college does provide some scholarship to the meritorious students scoring 90% and above in both the semesters. The full fees is paid by the college of the students belonging to different categories.

The extracurricular activities includes the mid semester events covering almost every activity according to their respective branches. As I'm from mechanical, there is a special catastrike event is carried which is basically based on catapult. The college also carryout every sport from cricket ,football to the table tennis and volleyball.

Sometimes the alumni do some to boost up the moral of the graduating students. They come and guide us to persue our dreams in whichever field we had our interests in. The college also has a committee conducting the entrepreneurship activities.

In 12th ,i appeared for mhcet (exam), it is basically an exam for getting the state engineering colleges in your state.The colleges are allotted in different rounds from 1-4. As the rounds goes on from 1 to 4 ,the seats of colleges getting filled up. The student scoring highest marks get the top most college of the state. When we get some college ,first we have to either freeze(confirm the admission) or float (to go to the next round). After getting the college we get to the college with the CAP allotted letter and they give us admission accordingly.

The faculty is quite good and has a pretty good knowledge of their respective subjects. Even though the machines and equipments are not upto the strength of the college still they manage to take care of giving the theoretical and practical knowledge of each subject to each student.
