Good placements is a remarkable attribute as compared to the other colleges in the city. Infrastructure may be improved upon.

Course Curriculum is explicit since the institute is autonomous so is the exam structure. The curriculum includes industrial visits for industry oriented streams. It includes reasonable industry internships and takes care to have its students efficiently placed every year.

Excellent placements. Internship companies arrive at the end of second year. For students unable to secure core jobs the college makes them undergo special training to secure a job. About 50% of the students from our course were placed. Almost 100% of the students from the production course got internships in the previous year. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Internships are good for all departments as internships are offered for almost every department. From the production department in 2018, almost every student got an internship in L&T, Godrej and Siemens.

Technovanza is most popular technical event in vjti.And this technical event is shine of vjti. In case of non technical Pratibimb and Rangavardhan are cultural events.These all events are held in late of December. Vjti gives platform to perform your skills.There are guest lectures throughout the year organized by different events and clubs.

Fee is around 50 to 60k but worth for being in this college. Fee is feasible for middle class family but lower class family might find it expensive but it's worth being in this college with little expensive fee. It's worth it since Placement and job opportunity is best, college tries to place everyone in company with minimum 4.5lpa.

College offers an array of educational loans every year. VJTI scholarships are provided to students who are financially incapable of paying tuition fees. VJTI approves all the scholarships that are provided by the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra. Some of the famous scholarship schemes are Top Class Sc Scholarship, Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship, Young Engineer Scholarship etc. Reserved category and minority students benefit the most from these scholarships.

Holds one of the biggest technical and cultural festivals for engineering colleges in India. Hackathons, robotics association, debate association, sports, cultural. - it revels in everything. Campus life is very pleasant at VJTI. You can enjoy and collect some of the best memories of your life with great people of VJTI. You can always hangout at VJTI canteen when you're not supposed to be in the classroom. Gender ratio is balanced here at VJTI. People from different parts of the country come and study at VJTI. I have a few friends from different states. Extracurricular activities are a completely different experience at VJTI. You will enjoy to the fullest in here because of all the events organised by students with students for students. VJTI is not just a college it is a community.

Infrastructure wise, there's lot to improve since its a 150 year old construction, but on a positive side, there is this new building specially being constructed for girls. For recreation, there is Saraswati library, internet facitlity, festivals like dahi handi etc. You get to manage two major hostel festivals - Ganeshotsav and Chetna in your 2nd year. There's no ragging, no drugs/drinking. Infact, I would call it the safest place on earth as you are not allowed to go out of the hostel after 9 30 pm. At the end of 4 years, you realize, its not just a room you shared but your life, and you'll cherish the times for the rest of your life

The college is known for its Alumni the most. A major asset of the college is its Alumni association that strives to improve its college at all levels with amazing connections all throughout the industry.

Admission is done via Mhtcet exam which is conducted by the State Common entrance test. As VJTI is one of the best colleges of the city, you need to score atleast above 150 out of 200 to get into it. VJTI admits people through JEE Mains as well as MAH-CET marks. The cutoff changes every year depending upon the difficulty level of the exams and number of students taking the test.

Average faculty with an average age of 30 with the qualification of PhDs and MTech from IITs and degrees from good USA colleges. They're well equipped with industry knowledge having themselves worked in various fields prior to pursuing teaching as a profession. Faculty members in this college are good as it is a top college. They are high-class and knowledgeable. They are more interactive and helpful to students, and they are well qualified. Most of the teaching is provided through PPTs. Senior faculty members are qualified and know everything. They are always available for you at any time.
