My college

The college is pretty decent with lab and faculty there are grounds common. the college doesn't have an auditorium. The best thing is the college library provides you with books for each semester, so you don't have to buy them. Yeah, the placement isn't good.

The BTech course as everywhere takes 4 years to complete. there are in total 8 semesters. And each semester consists of 2 internal exams and a one-semester exam which is mandatory to pass, otherwise, you have to give a supplementary examination.

The condition of jobs in this college wasn't so good, if you are a good student there are few good opportunities for you, most the compony were can here are not men, for an average student, it's pretty hard to get placed, especially if you belong to core branch.

There are not so many events celebrated, yeh I am not counting, teachers day, republic day, etc. One of the major events was Saraswati puja, Viswakarma puja on this you can eat as much as you want. the fest happens in this college but not at regular intervals. Two tech groups organize different events regularly.

The fee structure Is quite feasible, you have to pay almost 40k within 6 months or one semester, although there are several kinds of scholarship and fee weavers which have been provided by the college.

There are several kinds of scholarships and fee weavers which have been provided by the college. there are TFW tuition fee weavers, different scholarships for the minority. If you are a bit conscious you probably get a scholarship. College personally provides full fee and half fee weavers.

There is a common room in this college which have a Table tennis board, carom board, and college provides free bat ball, football, volleyball for the student. The college has a big ground in which you can do whatever you want and about the labs, they are pretty decent. Although there are a few broken instruments that could be found in labs.

There is no hostel in this college, but you can get rooms and pg very easily. The college is located in one of the best areas of Kolkata. You can get easy food, water hotel in this area this place is one of the best areas for students.

Two tech groups organize different events regularly. The seniors are pretty helpful and will help you whenever you want, there is nothing called ragging in this college. if you want to talk with them they will otherwise they don't bother at all.

I have taken admission through wbjee but you can take admission by JEE main ranks. and if you have the money you can take direct admission through management quotas. You have to enroll for a different selection process which takes almost 10 to 20 to complete, only after that you will get a seat in college.

The faculty in my college is not so much experienced, especially in IT, branch other stream has although some good decent teacher, overall faculty are a bit average. But most of them were helpful, and as they are not so old, they know the problem faced by us.
