Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is delicately curated in order to ensure that the Vedica students are equipped intellectually and emotionally to climb the ladder of financial independence in the workplace. The 18 months program has a pretty flexible course which helped me evolve both personally and professionally.

Placement Experience

Vedika has been collaborating with various companies and providing a platform for endless corporate exposure. The highest package drawn by a student at Vedika is 18 Lacs per annum, while the average package is around 9 lacs per annum.

College Events

The Anahita Speaker Series is an initiative by Vedica Institute and in collaboration with Carnegie India. Different keynote speakers are invited to deliver lectures highlighting the experiences and achievements of women professionals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for the 18 months residential program is a little shy of 6 lacs. The college is a hub of professional research on women’s issues, which can encourage women’s productivity within the working world. The Dean is looking forward to growing the academic side into a full-fledged university.

Hostel Facilities

The students are provided twin-sharing rooms with air-conditioning and attached bathrooms. The residence is wi-fi enabled and the food is also good. There is a separate mess area where students are served two meals in a day.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Admission

The admission process is on the basis of entrance test followed by an intense round of interview.

Faculty

The faculty members were all good. We also had many guest lectures from many esteemed faculty members from the World Bank, Guest speakers from the Government, StartUps, Private Equity, NGOs, and a multitude of sectors, and also the Deans arranging office hours to interact and counsel us, Vedica provides us with the best platform to learn, think and connect more efficiently.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
