Remarks

Good college.good class room , senior lecturer and good lab lecture and clean surrounding, parking for all vehicles is available.nice environment.no WiFi facilities available in the college is available.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is 3 years consisting of 6 semester.the college works for 4 months and lab exams get started the study holidays then exam get started.and one month holiday.exam commence very soon.

Yes.yearly once multinational companies from different place comes for the interview and the selection takes place the selection is done in the college and the selected get an opportunity to join the job

College Events

Freshers day.vivekananda jayanti and all the birthday of popular people the event takes place in seminar hall and guest will be called for all the celebration.ncc ,nss and red cross functions also take place

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible.the fees is not costly.the donation is taken according to the course and the percentage we have taken it depends on the course we have that we are taking and the percentage of the puc.cs fee is little expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

All government and private scholarship can be applied in the college and the get process it.if there is any money problems the college reduce the fees and get that money from the alumni association.loan is not available.

Campus Life

Lab are well maintained and clean every lab has ups supplies.and any problems in the lab will be cleared in the week.all sports are done in the college and selected students can go to other college or taluk level.

Hostel Facilities

No I have not opted for the hostel because there is no hostel facilities in the college hence I have not opted for the hostel and my house is very near for the college hence there is no hostel facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has a alumni association and from this association every day afternoon food for poor students is given for free and the students who cannot pay the fees is paid from association and other help is done from this association.

Admission

I first Taken application form from the college administrative block and filled it with the required documents which they asked and applied the application form for the college.after few days interview was called and I got admission.

Faculty

All faculty are good there are seperate lecture for lab and theory class.the class are missed by any of of the lecture.attendence of 75/100 is must.if there is shortage we have to provide the medical sertificate.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
