college feedback

Positive remarks is that it is a fully ragging free college. System work for it in a disciplined manner. Negative point is that there is very strict rule for students. Student is considered as a faulter for any mistakes happens in college or hostel.

Old curriculum is going on. No advanced technology is added to curriculum. Machine drawing is taught in very old pattern yet. It should not be happened now a days of auto cad. Fluid mechanics 1 should be taught from 4th semester.

I'm yet in 2nd year 3rd semester so i have not applied for internship yet. Last year there was a lot of placement done from here. In Mechanical branch 100% students placed with highest package pf 9.5 lac and average package of 6lac.

fee Structure of mess is 24500 for mess per semester. Tution fee is according to MHRD RULES. and oter fees is 12600 per semester for us. tution fee is 62500 for general and obc student whose anual income is more than 5 lac. 1/3 of 62500 per semester tution fee for gen and obc student with anual income between 1ac to 5 lac. for all other and st, sc student there is no tution fee applicable.

We can choose loan facility for paying fees from any bank. there is a lot of chances to get scholarship according to cemtral government and state govt scheme. i have applied last year for scholarship and i got it.

there is cricket ground, football ground, 2 basketball court, 4 badminton court, chess, carrom, table tenis, athletes track of 400 meter, music club, singing club, photography club, 3 vollyball court. Each department has it's laboratory.

very poor facilities in the hostel for sports and ground or loan. it has 5 floor but lift does not work all time. service charge are too much high. Issue does not solve on time in the hostel. Warden does not held meeting with students on time.

Every year an alumni meet is held for alumni meeting in which all alumni are invited and they meet from junior and guide them from tere experience. we can ask any query regarding placement, carrier, internship etc.

I passed jee main 2018 with air 18793 in general category. I want a seat in mechanical or electrical branch of an better nit so i have filled up this branch of nit jalandhar. Till 7th round i got hamirpur electrical yhen i went for special round and got seat here

some are good at their place. but the shuffling of teacher from this year is not so good for all the batch. The result is lack of knowledge of teacher and lack of experience create more difficulty for students.
