Positive remarks: One of the best Private College of West Bengal provides you good chance of placements,Job opportunities and Internships. College is situated in the posh area of Kolkata. Negative remarks: Feels like you are in school (Uniform and dress code).
Course Curriculum Overview
I took a mechanical course as I am interested in it. My rank is good to take CSE or IT in same college, But I made up my mind. There is different no. of paper in every semester.But in each paper you have 100 marks to score(70+30). 70 is for your final semester exam and 30 for internal.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are good in my college as it is one of the best Private College of West Bengal. Yes My college provide Internships. As I'm in second year so I'm not experienced any Internship but a senior told me that it was quiet helpful in his campus placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible or expensive is depend on the person to person. As I think It is feasible (No offence to anyone). As compared to other Private College of India , It is feasible. Fee structure for my course is approx 50 thousand per semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know the details about the loan facilities offered by my college, But there are some bank in Kolkata which provide loan on name of my college. IF you have done your schooling in Bihar and you are a permanent resident of bihar.you can apply for student loan under the scheme of BIHAR STUDENT CREDIT CARD SCHEME.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities includes Marathon, Tech events, Cultural events and sports events like Football, Cricket. Basketball, Table Tennis and Athletic event. And these events and tournament went quite fantastic till now.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I opted for hostel in first year only. My experience in the hostel will be of mixed review. Infrastructure is quite good as compared to other college's Hostel but In facilities it is quite descent. Food is good for someone and "OK" for some.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the Alumni of our college are quite helpful. They often visit our college and give some important types regarding study and placements. I have personally met some alumni and gathered some important information regarding companies and their employees.
Admission
Through entrance exam called WBJEE. First You gave the exam then after few days ,a Rank Card Published. Through this a counseling process in which Govt and Private Colleges of WB takes part. You have asked to takes part in counseling process of your choice (College and Course).
Faculty
In my course, There are some laborious teacher and some descent. Some teachers forces student for study. They take regular class tests but some of them are not interested in. They are only for lectures.
