Remarks

Positive:- Good faculty, Clean college, Bike, cycle and car stands are available, Big Auditorium, College canteen etc. Negative:- Bad infrastructure, Bad quality of benches, chairs and tables, there is no placement or internship for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am doing Bsc in Mathematics major. And we have total 6 semester in 3 yrs. Total 6 semester exams and 12 insemester exams. If anyone have back in there exam they can clear there paper only in even or odd semester i.e if you have back in odd semester than you can gave the back exam only in 1, 3, 5 semester or if you have back even semester than you can gave exam only in 2, 4, 6 semester.

No, our college do not provide any type of internship. Our is college only for graduation purpose. In our college bachelors degree in science, commerce and arts is available. Also BBA and BCA course is available.

College Events

Our college celebrate various type of occasion like freshers, tecahers day, Swarasti puja, and some local festivals. In our college various types intercollege games are a held. Our college also celebrate college week in this various competition are held like debates, games, Weight lifting etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college is under government under dibrugarh university so it is very cheap. Our college also provide free admission for BPL persons. Fee structure of our college is 5000 per semester admission fee and 2000 per semester exam fee.

Campus Life

Various type of extracurricular activities are held in our college like intercollege competition in games, debates speech etc. In our college there are so many laboratories like chemistry lab, physics lab, mathematics lab, zoology lab, botanical garden, geography lab, computer lab etc.

Admission

In my time it was offline, we have to collect admission form from the admistrative block in rs 100. And the merit list is put on the basis of 12 percentage. But from 2019 Process is little bit change now we have to fill online admission form after that the same proceess is proceeds.

Faculty

In our college every department have minimum 5 teachers. All of them are post graduate and some of them have PHD also. Teachers communicate with students in English, Hindi and also in local language.

A Comprehensive Review of Tinsukia College

I applied for Darrang College (under Gauhati University), Tezpur too. As I wanted to go there, but the limited availability of PG and distance from my hometown let me to choose Tinsukia College (under Dibrugarh University). I didn't get rejected in any college. I got confirmed admission chances from both Tinsukia College and Darrang College. First of all the students need to register and apply for the college in Govt. of Assam's SAMARTH admission portal. After that the merit list is prepared and the students are required to personally visit the college to take final admission.
