College Overall review

I had an excellent time in my college thanks for all the memories, friends. I will cheer this moment for life. Please improve your placement facilities as its extremely difficult to get a job among thousands. Provide guide about interview rounds and also take care of your student when they are passouts.

I took b.tech in computer science and engineering which is of 4 years. The total course fee was 3,61,000 excluding exam fee for each semester and uniform charges. The amount is splited into 8 semesters. You need to make DD to pay college fees.

Placement and job opportunities are very poor as they have a huge student base. The techno franchise have more than 10 college in W.B. So everytime there was a huge crowd in drives and companies coming fr placement only take 1 to 2% of the total crowd. No internships were provided. My overall experience is horrible.

After few months of coming to college u will have freshers welcome party, followed by annual sport. Our tech fest is known as vivarta which is actually very interesting, people come with new games or new technology. We also had a entrepreneurship skill development program showing new innovations. The annual fest is the best time for every college student.

Fee structure is feasible. Since i am a student of 2014-2018 batch. The total fee was 3,61,000 splited into 8 semesters. The first semester fee is higher than the rest semester fees. You also need to pay 2000 as exam fee. Uniform charges are extra.

I study under education loan. The college will provide every necessary document needed for loan. They are also tied with Punjab national bank which is inside the college premises, for loans and semester fee DD they provide full support.

The labs are pretty decent with all facilities starting from the computer labs and ED. The activity and sport culture lacks in the college no proper ground for sports like cricket, football. No equipments also.

Luckily i got in touch with few seniors who guided me about the procedures, study and local commutes. There suggestions like which book would be great for the particular subjects. Yes they are helpful because moving to a new city u need guidance.

I got admission through WBJEE in the year 2014. I secured a good rank and in my third counseling i was selected by TIU. I opted for computer science and engineering. I deposited a sum of 20k in WBJEE office rest procedures took place in the college.

The first year was pretty good moving to next year the faculty was below expectations because there were many few faces in the faculty. Overall it went to better in coming years. Higher faculty like HOD are highly qualified.
