No Negative remarks about our college. everything is good here. Starting from the infrastructure then the faculty, the seniors , the passouts all are a family. It is a home away from home.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is pretty good here. It's upto date in 1st year the syllabus is pretty common with all the departments from 2nd year departmental subjects gets introduced. we learn C ,c++, java ,web tech throughout the course.
Placement Experience
Yes,the college do provide internships and jobs many companies come to visit our college. With average to high salaries they come and take the students from here. They provide salaries starting from 3.6 lpa CTC to as much as 35 lpa CTC.
College Events
Many events are celebrated including ciippus , arena, sankskriti etc. I don't generally take part in cultural events. Jadavpur has always been known for its unique cultural fests one of them being sankskriti.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its very cheap to study here. All the departments except information technology are charged around rs 6000 only annually. The yearly fees of information technology being rs 36000.The University hostel fee is also very minimum.
Fees and Financial Aid
I havent took any scholarships from our college. They give scholarship to lower caste students. The scholarship fees are of good amount, loan facility is not there in our college
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities are very good here the labs are being renovated and have become good now the old tools of the workshop is being replaced by new and modern equipments. Sports is on top here with cab ground connected with it.
Hostel Facilities
No.I havent opted for hostel. Like the curriculum fee the hostel fee is also very less the infrastructure is very good and can accomodate a good number of students. It's clean and some parts of it are still under construction to accommodate more people.
Alumni/Alumna
The arena is the cultural program which helps in the reunion between the passouts and the already studying students. It is very helpful to meet them and understand about the industrial exposure and make us learn many things which also adds to our experience.
Admission
After giving Wbjee I got shortlisted to study here.Then there was a councilling process. I was selected in the second round of counselling. They verified all the documents and then finally I took admission.
Faculty
The faculty here is very experienced.They are good all aspects. Starting from communication with the students to doubt clearing ,it's a pleasure having such faculty in our college. Also the occasional Class tests helps students a lot.
