The course curriculum is so designed that the student gets a flavour of all the management subject. I feel a common first year curriculum is important is one is aspiring to be a future manager as this type of curriculum gives you an exposure to all the management subjects.

The current year Internships have seen an improvement in the profile and the stipend offered as compared to the previous year. On an average there are many sales and marketing profiles being offered by top MNC in India and the average stipend is close to 32k.

As seen with the internships, the final placements have also improved as compared to previous years. We have made associations made with many new companies especially in the financial sector. And ours is the campus that sees the best systems jobs offered by top IT companies in India. And the students are also able to bag PPI from the sales and marketing internships they were offered in the previous year.

We have athlos, XAthon, xpressions, sanidhya, sambandh, Jlt, abhivyakti. The biggest cultural fest in East India is celebrated in our campus where we have students from IIM participating in Xpressions.

The fee is on the expensive side. Development fee 1 lakh, Tuition fee 13 lakhs, Hostel fees 52000, Infrastructure fees 72000, Caution deposit 19000. When you compare this fee with other colleges you see that mess fees is not included and also bhubaneshwar as a city is comparatively less expensive when compared to other cities where top mba colleges are present.

SBI scholar loan is available and one can avail it from the ximb campus branch. Loans from this branch is processed in approximately 3 days and then it takes another week for other documentation formalities. There are very few scholarships available and it is limited to top 2 out of a batch of 360.

The gender ratio is approx 2:1 males:females. Hostel parties are almost every week and this is exclusive of the birthday parties. There are frequent workshops from operations, systems, finance, marketing. There is no discrimination on sex, race, cast or creed. There is an open culture that is accommodative of every individual and One feels at home. There is no superiority or inferiority on the basis of economic status or anything else.
