Course Curriculum Overview
XIMB has a great legacy of 35 years and a great alumni network. The MBA-BM was one of the key interests I had and it remains. Good faculty with a case-based teaching style. Most of the faculties are Ph.D., The exams are conducted semester-wise.
Internships Opportunities
The company names and stipend are available on the website. All company's projects and outcomes are different the projects can be based on operations, sales, marketing, consulting, financial, etc. Hence each outcome will be different. But each project provides a valuable opportunity to learn.
Placement Experience
By 5th semester the student is eligible for final campus placements. There are more than 50 companies that visit the campus and the college boasts a 100% placement record. The highest package is 72lpa and the median is around 20lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not sure about the free hike policy. The cost to study is 22lakhs for the two years which includes reading material, Bloomberg fees, etc. There is no scholarship given. Loans are easy to secure. There are a no. of live projects, they can apply to those provided by the College.
Campus Life
The annual fest Xpressions happens during December or January. The library is world class with a great collection of management books and others. It also includes various online sources and all the students get access to websites where they can check research papers, journals, etc. The campus is quite happening with 4-5 sports events a year which involve various sports and go on for 3 days or more. Extracurricular activities also take place every month. All the groups and committee details are provided on the website. The sports and extracurricular activities are handled by student-driven committees -Sportscom and Cultdom.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are spacious with basic amenities such as a table, wardrobe, etc. Meal quality is decent and plenty of other options are available apart from the mess inside the campus. The registration process is fairly simple. One would have to choose whether they want a single room or a double and a room will be allocated based on that.
Admission
All graduates are eligible for this course. The application form and application dates can be found on the website as well as MBA coaching or news channels or website also provide the necessary information. No reservation Benefit is Availed. No improvement is necessary.
Interview Experience
There was no GD during my time and the interview was online. The interview questions were theory from my background and current affairs related. The first step was the entrance examination. I applied through XAT. I had prepared it on my own and just purchased the test series. The next round was the interview after filling out the application form. I got interview preparation done from CATKing.
