Decent College

Positives are that your opinions cannot be curbed down if you know how to voice it. They have a lot of potential to look over and make it a great institution which can compete with great colleges. Negatives are they are not trying to do that.

It was decent enough. Every semester there used to be three internal exams. And finally the semesters. Where the semester accounts for 70% and the rest 30% is for the internal evaluation. Total a set of 8 semesters.

Placement & job opportunities were very less for us. A very few companies and that too with very little package had come. Mostly dependent on off campuses. Hope this would have improved by now. The placement training program though was OK.

Every year there is a techno fest that is held. All the students and faculties actively participate in it. Moreover all other festivals are celebrated by the students. Had a good bunch of guys to make the journey memorable.

The fee structure is on the expensive end when compared to the other colleges of same grade. If you are charging like the high end colleges. At least do provide similar facilities as in faculties and infrastructure.

I got an scholarship but it was not sponsored by college. It was sponsored by state government. They have a scheme if your rank is good and economically you can't afford the fees then you can apply for it.

The lab facilities were not up to the mark as expected. Even sports was not that encouraged and very less opportunities for people who aimed to do something in sports. All other extracurriculars were just ok. Nothing sort of that great.

Alumni network is not well maintained. To get to know your alumni is difficult. There is no way you can connect with senior students unless you know them personally. People are helpful of you get to know and reach out to them

Through odisha jee an entrance exam held at state level. The admission is based on the rankings of the exam after a counselling is held after result declaration. And then the final admission is done in college.

Some of the faculties where good and knowledgeable. Whereas some where freshers who were trying to learn the concepts first by themselves. The senior faculty was good for our branch. But there needs to be more good faculties.
