One of the best NIT, I have ever been to.

There are no negative remarks as such. College was fun and everyone likes their college. So it was a good opportunity for me to get in there without a doubt. Anyday, i would like to be there without thinking it for the second time. It was the best time of my life

Well the course curriculum is pretty good in each branch. A student has to be average in understanding the concepts of whatever course he/she is studying. Exam structure included two mid term exams and one end term exam every semester, on the basis of these examinations there were SGPA and CGPA. Sgpa stands for semester grade per annum Cgpa stands for cumulative grade per annum. Examination pattern was also simple and much related to the course. Overall, it had a nice structure.

Placements and jobs are secure in mnit, if you are doing good. It all depends on your CGPA and your level of knowledge. And no it doesn’t provide internship. There are no such programs were running back in 2012-2016. Rest i have no idea about what’s happening right now.

When i was in college , these are the events which used to happen in the college which are as follows. 1. Neuron ( Techincal Event, where different college student used to come up with different engineering concepts and robotics ) 2. AIAMBT ( All INDIA ADVANI MEMORIAL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT) As the name sounds , It was a sports tournament , similarly students from different colleges of different states used to participate in the tournament. 3. Blitzschlag ( Cultural event ) Everyone waited for this event to come every year, this 3 day cultural event has everything a student has wished for. There are so many things which happens in blitzschlag.

Feasible and under a common family’s Budget. Although the Hostel fee is expensive. They charge for the hostel fee which makes it bad in that persepective. They should be doing something with their hostel fee structure. And yes , tuition fee of college was feasible.

There us this state scholarship for the students who comes in SC/ST category depending on their semester grades. And similarly there are so many other state scholarship programs offered by MHRD as well.

Overall the college was fun and it needed some kind of improvement in terms of everything. Extracurricular activities didnt happen that much back in 2012. But now , as i am an active alumni of the college i get to see a lot of activities in the college. Labs has been improved. Students are good at sports as well :)

No, I have not opted for hostel but i have an idea about it. They have almost 9 hostel for boys and 6 for girls. Infrastructure of the hostel is old format. Needs improvements in the hostel premises. Only single hostel was good which started in 2013, Names aurobindo hostel. Amazing infrastructure and facilities:)

Yes ofcourse. We have this alumni meet every year in the month of December. Which is very useful for each one of us. We get to know whats there which needs to be done in our college. And what are the areas of improvements in which we can work.

Back in 2012 , there used to be AIEEE exam through which students were selected all over the india via entrance exam. So after IIT-JEE a student has another option of getting himself into NIT which was AIEEE Although the competition is still tough but worth fighting or studying for.

If we talk about faculty then, there were good teachers in each department whole level of making students learn the concepts was really different. A student has to understand , how the teacher is trying to make them understand the concept. And yes, Student has to be very attentive in the class. Without which teachers efforts wont work. So 10/10 points to teachers.
