College Review

College has no negetive remarks according to me.faculties are very helpful.overall good.seniors are friendly.there is no ragging.we get to know so much from the and the seniors are also helpful as well.

The exam was a pretty balanced one.the give questions equally from both first and the second year.Maths alone consists of 100 marks which contains 50 questions of 1 mark each and 25 questions of 2 marks have 1/4th of negative marks.Physics and chem contains other 100 marks.The exam will be of two halves.Maths alone on one half and phy,chem on the other.

The college provides various interships.Me being a first year student doesnt have much of an information but according to seniors college provides satisfactory internships.The job placement is average here.Placements are average in my opinion. CTS and Infosys are major companies that come for recruitement.Apart from them E&W also recruited in the year 2018.Around 50-60% students gets placed from our department and the average package lies around 3 LPA.

Our college has many events happening throughout the year.elixir is among one of them and is the best one.Besides there are many mini events like techstorm where I participated in many games and robotics.

The fees structure here at BPPIMT is pretty much feasible.For BTech,which is a four year course comprises of 8 semesters.For the first sem they take around 60k including the library and other fees.the next sems are around 40k.

I being a non domicile of Kolkata havent got any kind of a scholarship.There are also seperate scholarships for students hailing from other states.Also Some banks provides loans for the needy students.

The lab here at BPPIMT are a mixture of good and bad.the mechanical workshop is average,the chem lab is not so good,phy lab is better,computer labs are good. We here don't have a huge campus so cannot afford to play any outdoor games but there are carroms and TT.hostels are medium.food is not good.

I will rate hostel facilities as 8 out of 10 and food 7 out of 10.They provides 3 times food at a cost of 5000 inr per month which is way way cheaper that other states. Food test needs improvement but you will get average food,apart from that hostel in out timings are also good.

The faculty here at BPPIMT is quite good.They might not be the best one around but are student friendly which is the most important thing.The college contains 4 branches viz CSE,EE,IT,ECE.I being a CSE student is very satisfied by the faculty.The alumni network is also great.we get to know so much from the and the seniors are also helpful as well.

I have appeared in the WBJEE entrance exam.i got 15678 as WBJEE rank. After that i went to the counselling where every person who wants admission has to pick college and the course in which he wants to pursue his degree based on his rank. After selecting i went to the BPPIMT college counter to submit my admission fee.They will provide the fee book with that you have to come first day in college.
