College review

The college is overall well above average. However, it needs to make sure that the crowd coming is good. Lately, there have been growing instances of fights in the campus. So, this needs to be checked.

Overall the curriculum is mediocre. But we can't blame the college for the same, as it's prescribed by the university itself. Exam structure is like any other college. Two exams in a year. Midterms followed by finals at the end of the year. Also, for certain subjects orals are conducted.

There are a lot of placement opportunities available. In fact, college has a separate cell to deal with the same. However, there is no internship provided. But the college cooperates with those who want to do the same.

Our college is known for celebrating a lot of events. Each year our college has a fest in which various games are held. Also students are allowed to setup stalls to show their entrepreneurial skills. The capital is provided by college which needs to be given back after the fest. Also, a lot of other cultural activites are done.

Feasible, I must say. Most of the admissions are on the basis of merit and the college has a grant form the government. Also, there are very less charges for the additional facilities provided such as parking, etc.

The college as such does not provide any special scholarship or loan. However, it supports all the scholarships that are done by either SPPU or Maharashtra government. There are however some incentives to students who are financially weak. The college let's them work in administrative department in exchange of waiving off their fees.

The college is good in sports. However, the cultural activities need a special memtion. The GCC drama team has won many tournaments such as Purshottam Karandak and have been a regular contributor to great content. Also, the college has various cells to help students develop specific skills such as entrepreneurship cell, etc.

I've not opted for them. But firm the experience of my friends, I'd say that they are average. The food is provided by the college mess. Also, the condition of rooms alloted is good. However, some work needs to be done on the ambience of hostel.

The alumini network's just great. They assist the studnets to get jobs across prestigious companies like the Big 4s, Tata Group and other big companies. One of my friends got palced in Deloitte due to the reference of an alumini. Also, seniors are helpful in nature and are known to help us.

The admission process in 11th std was based on 10th marks. Firstly after applying for the online process, there was a merit list announced. Then students had to fill in an admission form followed by actual admission by depositing the fees.

The faculty is quite good. Especially the junior college professors. They guide the students in every way needed and are also known to be quite humble. The senior college faculty are also well versed with their respective subjects.
