NIT not only offered me an Envirentment for Quality Education, but an exposure to a lot of opportunities. One thing I like the most is that the faculties treat their students like their children. They guide us through any decisions if asked for.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum is well organized. As it is an Autonomous institute, it possesses its own syllabus and examination structure. A total of 8 semesters are carried out in a period of 4 years course. Each semester has 6 months period for the examination. Further, there are two Slot Examinations carried out during this 6 months period. It really helps the students to cope up with the syllabus with ease.
Placement Experience
This year the institute provided 87% placement to students and the highest package offered is 12LPA. The Placement Cell groooms the students to be industry ready by organizing training camps, workshops and seminars. The college also provides internship to desirable students. The overall experience is good and I got monthly 3k for 2months internship.
College Events
A total of six annuak events are celebrated in our college. These are: (1)Navodaya-The annual Cultural Fest (2)Kritanj-The Techno-management Fest (3)Parichay- Annual Freshers Welcome (4)Nostalgia-Annual Alumni Meet (5)Mini Marathon-Run with Gaiety Pledge for Parity; and (6) NIT Jewels-Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of the college is strong with well establised seniors. Some of them are successful entrepreneurs too. Others are successful in their careers. They are very helpful to the juniors and a very good guide fo us too.
Admission
I had scored eligible rank in WBJEE to qualify for taking admission in this college. During the counselling process carried out by WBJEE Board I got admitted to this college locking the seat by giving Counselling Fees. After that I visited the college for admission. Completing all the formalities, I finally became the student of Narula Institute of Technology.
Faculty
All the faculties are highly educated and very helpful. Some faculties do their own reaserch in the college laboratories. We were very lucky to have those faculties teaching us thoughout our course. The faculties are too much able to get us understand any topic with ease by their experiences.
