Remarks
The college is overall good and the placements are good as well. But the main problem is that the companies visit the main campus only for placements. Thats why we have to travel to Mesra in the 7th and 8th semester of the engineering and that is very expensive and time consuming.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is same as followed by other top colleges in India.Since the exam papers come from the main campus that is Bit Mesra,the level of the exam paper is good.The papers are also checked from the main campus. There are 2 semesters per year and in one semester there is one Mid sem and one End sem.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are good.All the big companies like Microsoft,Amazon,Jp Morgan, Adobe,etc visit the college for placements. But for that one needs to go to the main campus as there are no companies visiting the extension campus.For sitting in the big companies you must be under 10 ranker of your class.
College Events
There are three events taking place in the college the sports fest, technical fest and the cultural fest.The most happening fests are sports fest and cultural fest.There is DJ party after every fest and the students display there talents.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is expensive as it is a deemed university.Per semester the fees is approximately 1 lac. So in total the whole engineering would cost you around 8 lac. Since the college does not provide the hostel that expenses depends on the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship is given to the students whose cgpa is greater than 8 every semester.But the student can avail the internship if their family income is less than 3 or 5 lacs (I don't remember this now what is the exact amount).
Campus Life
My college campus was not that huge so and the number of students were not that much so the extracurricular activities are not at a larger scale. But in my last year of engineering outside college were invited and that was a great event.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are helpful very much and some of the teachers motivate a student a lot. The seniors provide you the workshop uniforms and all the things related to mechanical labs in the first year and also some other things for related to other labs. Seniors also provide you with the notes and regular mentoring.
Admission
The admission was based on the Jee mains rank and the criteria when I got admission in the college in 2015 was to get rank under 2 lac. I filled the application form and waited for sometime. The results were out and I got CSE stream.
Faculty
The faculty are is okay okay. They have the vast knowledge of the subject but they are unable to deliver the full knowledge Because of the limited number of the classes. The head of the departments are really very good and motivate students all the time.
