Remarks
Some positive points are that the college library is good and all the laboratory are good. And talking about the bad things is the account stafff of office is very rude. Also while assignments submission they make the students suffer a lot.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good but the teaching method should be changed. There should be more practical knowledge given to students in curriculum instead of bookish knowledge. And some subjects are not of any use.
Placement Experience
There are no placement for mechanical department in core company. There are only It companies and marketing companies coming for placement not a single mechanical core company came. And the packages are in the range of 2-4 lpa.
College Events
Sinhgad karadak is the most great event in whole pune which takes place in February. This event is really good as there are lots of sponsors for this event and karandak last for around 3 days also a international singers concert is there.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is most cheap in all the other sinhgad colleges. The fees is the most less fees in Pune for engineering.Only one thing they charge for students activity fees which they do not even conduct and still charge us.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are lots of government scholarships available for students such as ebc which I have availed also scholarships for caste students and the punjabrao deshmukh scholarships for hostel students. The scholarship department is really good than other departments.
Campus Life
There are sports equipment available but not so good quality equipment. And also there are many restrictions to play. Every time if we want equipment we have to submit are id card this is not done they take the fees of equipment from us only and still the have out restrictions.
Alumni/Alumna
No, the alumni senoir are not even in touch with college and they are not at all helpful to the students. The network of alumni is not good only they talk to the department. I have passed this year and will change this.
Admission
I had taken the admission through central admission process of pune University. Firstly we have to take a admission kit after that we have fill the online form and apply for our favorite course and college we have to give minimum 30 options of colleges.
Faculty
The faculty is now been completely changed and a young facility has been appointed so no experience. The young facility doesn't teach and what they teach is not understandable. Also while submission of assignments the really make students suffer.
