SEC has a huge campus with almost 12 academic blocks. Additionally, it also has two grounds for outdoor/sports-related activities and many conference halls. Classrooms are huge and equipped with modern educational technologies such as smart-board and projectors which is, currently, the most efficient way of teaching and better learning of the students. Labs are very spacious and have all types of computers required by any engineering student from open source systems to windows based systems. Quality of food available is good, and proper hygiene is maintained in kitchens. Hostel rooms are small compared to the number of students allocated to a room.

The course curriculum is high based on the Anna university syllabus and it's regulations. The books are issued by the college itself that are suggested by the Anna university. The exams are also conducted under Anna university guidance and paper valuation & Revaluations are done by Anna university only.

Placement : 100 percentage placements with the highest package 12 Lacs per annum. Average was 3-3.5 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting company for the college are TCS, Zoho, Amazon and Cognizant. We get software developing jobs and core related jobs. Our branch has the package offered of 8 Lacs per annum in the ECE core field.

The college celebrates most of the events like sports day, annual day, culturals, and founders day. Also, many big events like audio launch are conducted in the massive indoor stadium in the college campus. The college celebrates most of the festival events in a traditional way. The fee structure is highly feasible for the merit students from TNEA counseling. But it is little expensive for the students who came through management quota. The bus facility is a must for all the students and we have to pay according to our stopping points. The bus fee is feasible and less when compared to other colleges.

The college gives 3crore worth of scholarship every year for the best students with impeccable academic performance. Every student who scores more than 8.5 cgpa will get awarded with 5,000, for 8.75 cgpa - 10,000, for 9 cgpa - 15,000, for 9.25 cgpa and above - full tution fee waived. Also, the college provides govt. Scholarship for backward caste.

The labs are well equipped and has centralized air conditioner. The modern day labs gives you full pleasure to learn your subjects and and explore and discover more about your field. There are state of the art sports facilities and for the past 6 yrs our college is the zonal trophy winner.

We get inspired by the senior students in the college. The alumni includes famous personalities like film directors, speaker, entrepreneur, entertainer, and faculty members in the same college. Our alumni are there in more than 75 countries doing various business and work. They graduated in SEC and explored the world through the knowledge acquired in the campus.

Merit: I went through merit basis in the TNEA counselling, since it is a Anna university affiliated college. The admissions are done in two categories merit and management. The college comes under Anna university regulations and rules.

Almost all the teachers here are Ph.D. scholars and they are very helpful. Their resource materials are very useful for students too. The teaching quality is at its peak. The curriculum is very up to date and is relevant to the kind of jobs we get.
