This institute is really good.when I joined here in this institute I heard many negative remarks from the ones who never have been through this college but the thing is that those guys were not know how amazing is this college. So just don't listen to others think I take your own decisions.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is the main Moto of this college curriculum. The curriculum has been designed to have more number of laboratory courses where students learn through state of art equipment and tools.
Placement Experience
Placements at IIITDM kancheepuram is more than average this year it has grown alot many got packages more than 10 lpa and even some of them got more than 25lpa. This days we are inviting high paying companies to say in short placement at IIITDM is more than average.
College Events
We celebrate many events like - For the new arrival students we organise Freshers party in this Freshers will be showing their talent.Vashisht is a tech-fest event in which there will be compitation among students robots and also many workshops will be there. Samgatha is the main event of IIITDM kancheepuram.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In comparison with iits and any other center government colleges the fee structure is feasible. Even I can say that fees is less than iits but if we compare with the state government colleges then it is too high I.e. expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
Prospective undergraduate students can avail scholarships/ financial assistance based on merit and parental income levels. 1-Top Class Education Scholarship for SC/ST Students & 2-Scholarships for Differently Abled Students.
Campus Life
Students here in IIITDM kancheepuram are very much excited in all activities along with studies. We are having a football ground, cricket ground, badminton court, tennis court, volleyball court, running track, gym also there is a room alloted for indoor games.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is very good.I would like to rate it 10 out of 10. Our hostels are completely new,well maintained and very spacious too. They are incomparable with any other government institutions hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network of this institution is growing from past two three year's.we held a alumni summit this year in our institute. Seniors are very cooperative they supporrs us and also we can discuss about projects with them. They never hesitate to help juniors.
Admission
The mode of admission is based on the JEE (Main)1 and Plus-2 Normalized Score. The seat allotment to the B.Tech programmes is based on All India Rank published by CBSE. Admission is based only on All India Rank (AIR). The admission to Foreign Nationals is through Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA).
Faculty
Faculty is sincere and hardworking, most of the facilities take their work seriously and plan their classes well and there are very rare chances that faculty take leaves, and if they take then also they will plan for compensation classes.
