Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is one of the best for CSE students, in 1st year it is not that great but which helps mech and ece students for branch change in the first sem , but from the second sem most of the courses are best on the present technology and helps us to built great knowledge in machine learning and AI
Placement Experience
The placements in our college are not that good , but we can grow in academics very weel and the skill set we get is very good , to learn and to grow our college is one of the best , if you only want placement, our college provides but the compition is very high in our college and you need more skills which is given by our college, our college also provides placement exam which helps you in placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees of our college (Indian Institute of Information technology design and manufacturing kancheepuram) is 2560000 ( 256k) in that 160000 (160k) is the course fee and 80000 (80k ) is the hostel fee and 6000 (6k ) is the miscellaneous fee .
Campus Life
The campus is about 60 acres very beautiful campus and bulidings , the life in the college is very good , the environment is a bit harh but you love it when it is cold and it is hard to live in sun if you are not used to it
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is very nice for the first year the ros are very big and then in 2nd years rooms are a bit small then you get a very big room in 3rd and 4 th year , which are very great , the washroom are very neat and cleaned every day , the only problem is you won't get water from 11 to 4
Admission
This is one of the government funded colleges in India and one of the best college in Tamil Nadu , according to my jee rank , the best college I can go is this college only (IIITDM) , may be the average placements are poor but the support for getting development is very high you can do mtech in iit Madras by using one of the MOU of our college
Faculty
The faculty of our college are very good , all of them are from iits , completed phd and they are very good in handling non academics also . The exam system is very nice , it comes with relative grading and exam system consists of assignments , quizs , mid sem and end sem
Interview Experience
I have written jee mains, on qualifying that and based on the rank I got seat in my college , my rank was around 26k . The pattern off jee is multiple choice questions and it is a online based exam written in a particular centers and it is conducted by the NTA National testing agency
Night Life
Night life is so engaging in our college, you have gym , badminton and volleyball court open till mid night you can also roaming in the college till midnight but you are not allowed to go out after 10 and not allowed to come into after 10
