College review

This college is good overall. There are few positive and negative things in every college.

Overall good ciriculum. there are 2 internal exams and a semester final exam per semester. Same as in other engineering circiculums. For internals exams are easy and for semester exam the question paper comes from the University.

Overall placements are good. Average package for placement through college is 3.5 lpa. the placements for CSE, IT and ece are very good. For the core branches the placements are bit low as compared to other branches.

Many events are celebrated in our college. There is a cultural and technical fest leganza. There are also many small events in the college. There are many cultural and technical clubs for organizing these events. Sports events are limited.

Fees for this college is feasible for each semester it cannot be said as expenesive considering the various aspects of the college like lab, classrooms and others services. The labs are considered as best in West Bengal.

Talking about scholarships there are few scholarships to talk about. If you get 10 gpa in a sem you get a full fee waiver. There is also a tfw scheme for poor students who have domicile of West Bengal state.

There are many and enough labs as per the curriculum. The labs are good, infact the labs of this college are considered as best in the whole West Bengal after the famous jadavpur university labs.

The alumni network of this college is not so good. The seniors are helpful but not always. There is a sense of senior junior that is not healthy sometimes.

I gave entrance exam and went for counseling thorough wbjee. I got this college in the choice filling process of wbjee. Wbjee stands for West Bengal joint entrance examination. You can also get this college thorough JEE Main.

Some of the faculties are good and helping but some are not so good. Some faculty and staff are very good their teaching style is vert good and they care about students future but some faculty just come to make their attendance.
