The college life has been the best for me. 4 years of an incredible journey accompanied by unforgettable memories that inwill cherish for the rest of my life. I made friends, lots of friends.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a 4 year course consisting of eight semesters. You have to appear for two internals per semester. The internal marks depend upon your performance in the college, attendance as well as marks obtained in the internal exam. Then you have to appear for the semester exam.
Placement Experience
Placements have been excellent. I myself got placed in Tata Consultancy Services, cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Wipro. Apart from me many secured multiple jobs with the success percentage being 98%.
College Events
There were technical and cultural events that took place in our college. The technical event was a treat to the eyes with events ranging from robo soccer, all terrain ,treaure hunt and many more. The cultural fest was even better.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible to some extent but it may be a huge ask for students coming from rural areas who might not be economically sound to cater to the fee structure demanded from them. For students in urban areas i believe its feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
There were loan facilities were provided to the students but not from the college side. You have to take education loans from different public sector banks. About the scholarship part, it hasn't been introduced as of yet.
Campus Life
The lab facilities were top notch. The labs were equiped with modern generation computers mostly running on intel i5. About sports, there were a lot of events strategically organized throughout the year to give sports enthusiasts an opportunity to showcase their talent.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students were very helpful, they guided us throughout our interview process. Ours is a ragging free ground so no student can engange in these type of harassing activities. The atmosphere was very hygienic.
Admission
I had to give the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) after which i had to go through counseling process in order to get admitted. This is a state level exam where engineering aspirants can participate and qualify.
Faculty
The faculty is diversified and technically sound. Not a single teacher differ to mentor us. They were true professionals who guided us in the bet possible path, often correcting us from committing mistakes not only in exams but also in life.
