I wish my college has good alumini network.Moreover the faculties could be more experienced and would be having industrial exposure. Also our faculties didnt recieved timely payment so they went on strick for couple of months.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well i was in mechanical branch. Initially we have 50 marks online and 50 marks theory papers. 40 % was the minimum criteria need to pass. From 3 rd year we had 30 marks insem and 70 marks final papers.
Placement Experience
Sinhgad institute has centralised campus facility where around 5-10 k students appear for certain companies. The recruiters are Basically it companies like accenture infosys cognizant. Core companies are very less as compared to mwchanical.
College Events
Sinhgad karandak is annual event held at our campus. I bet no other Engineering colleges can invite that level of celebs. We had international bands like edward maya chainsmokers at our time. Sports events drama modelling were also given equal importance.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Bit expensive but sinhgad institutes teaches students to be good peraon in life. Just education is of no use personality matters and that are some positive things that we got from our college. Hostel fees is average as compared to facilities provided.
Fees and Financial Aid
Pune university scholarship given by university. Tfws facility given by university where top 3 students (economically backward) will not pay tution fees. But most of rich kids took that benifit but providing false income proof.
Campus Life
Labs are good. Institute gives equal importance to sports and have maintained nice infrastructure throughout. They have number of clubs like baha supra and robitics clubs where students can inculcate more knowledge and become domain exoperts.
Alumni/Alumna
No. Our institute was new so we did not had any alumini connection. Infact that should be very important as a students. From 2016 batch our batch created that culture and latter passed to the juniors.
Admission
The Process was bit lenthy and had to submit number of forms. The fees structure was different for open category and obc sc st. The faculty was very supportive at the time of admission. Admission procudure for holtels was very simple.
Faculty
Faculty is very helpful and they guide us really well. But one thing that we noticed most of them were mtech freshers without any industrial exposure. Many of them infact told us they didnt got job in the market so they are lecturers.
