The college was established in year 2000. From then it is emerging and it has got the best emerging institute of West Bengal award located in durgapur it is at the heart of durgapur. Location is silent and peaceful.

Course Curriculum is from MAKAUT. You get the GATE oriented syllabus. It is niether too vast or easy syllabus but you get a package of knowledge from the syllabus. The exam structure is like other universities.

There are placement and job opportunity for talented students. Many IT companies visit the campus. Capgemini, Cisco, Wipro, TCS visit the campus. But there is lack of campus placement for the students of core branch like Mechanical and Civil engineering.

Nabinbharan - This is the first event organized for fresher 1st year students. This is like welcome for fresher. Drona - Celebrated as teacher's day for mechanical department then there are cultural fest, Hostel night, Annual meet and many more.

Fee structure is generally like other MAKAUT colleges. We cannot call it expensive but it is not also less it is like 40000 for tuition fee. If you are in hostel provided by college. Then you have to pay extra for hostel.

From National scholarship Portal. You can avail scholarship for undergraduate b.tech students. You can also get loan from your respective state government for tution fee. College do not provide any scholarship, as far I know.

There are two playground available one for cricket and other is a football ground. Netaji Subhas Krirangan. You can practice cricket on nets here. Play football. There is a coach for football. Basketball court is also available. And yeah you can also play volleyball. There is a gym. And karate is also done here.

There are 3 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel. Chittaranjan boys hostel - this is specially for 1st year boys. Aurobindo boys hostel - In this hostel boys of 1st year, 2nd year ,3rd year and 4th year resides. Students from BBA also resides there. And the last for SATYEN BOSE HOSTEL this is for student from 2nd year to 4th year.

Alumni are working in different fiels and they are doing great in their respective fields. Senior students are helpful. They always guide you for better future. All seniors are not same some are rude. Some are like big brother.

I got admission through direct admission only by showing IITJEE rank. You can get admission via councelling of JEE MAIN OR WBJEE. For CSE and IT rank should be less than 80000. Admission through donation is also available.

The faculty are experienced and have good knowledge in their fields. I am from Mechanical Engineering department and the teachers are really good. My friends from other departments are also satisfied by the teachers.
