Remarks
This college is not good for getting education in engineering or management. This is good for nothing except you get Certificates from a recognised government University. Non Bengali student will learn only Bengali in this college not engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
I personally do not like the curriculum. The syllabus is old. Books are provided by the College library are also old age. Labs do not have proper infrastructure and instruments. Methods of practical are old. Exams are taken regularly. Except the semester exams, the exams taken by the College, i.e. internal, are all useless. Most of the Students do not appear in the exam even then they get good marks from the teachers.
Placement Experience
NO JOB. This college is the worst in my knowledge. They do promise for 80% placement, put up posters but it is all fake. They even arrange fake placements. One or two companies come but only for sales or BPO. Salaries are even less than 15000. Student protest has been happened for the same but no action has been taken.
College Events
Annual fest is organised by the college. Different competition such as game, singing, dancing etc all happened in a very proper way. Bolly nights are organised and celebrities are invited in the show. Even the fest are skipped for some years.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is okay. It is around 1 lakh for a year. There is additional library fee and exam fee. There is a facility of tuition fee waiver for the poor Students. Sometimes the pardon fees for students who can't pay but you need to request hard.
Fees and Financial Aid
They have the facility of tuition fee waiver. If the income of the student's guardian is less than 1 lakh, one can apply for tuition fee waiver. If it is granted then student has to pay only 1000 per semester.
Campus Life
In the name of extracurricular activities there is nothing but cricket and football. Annual fest is organised which is also skipped some year. But when organised, it happen in a proper way. Celebrities are invited, competition happens like gaming or singing or dancing.
Alumni/Alumna
The is no such thing. There is no alumni meet, no convocation happens. Even while in college there is negligible interaction between the senior and junior students. As no such exists there is no question of helpful or not.
Admission
This college takes admission of students through counselling process of WBJEE qualified candidates. One can also take admission directly through management quota. The college administration charge some lakhs of rupees for direct admission.
Faculty
Most of the faculties do not know proper emglish. It is not a good college for those who are not Bengali. Even you ask the teacher to speak in english, they will speak 2 or 3 lines then again come back to Bengali. Except 3-4 teachers, all do not know how to teach. Students loose interest in the subject and stop coming to college.
