Remarks
Remark is that overall college is good but its not great every college has some good points some weak points but at every stage an student or ex student has some memories with his her college so the review is some what baised but I have tried to be as real as possible.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mine was an mechanical engineering diploma where the exam patern was semester pattern where the exams are held every six months and if you fail in any subject you can apper in the next semester to clear that subject.
Placement Experience
Placements are good in our college. I am currently places in Bajaj Auto Ind ltd as an trainee engineer at Akurdi pune Reserch and Development office where the payment for me is 11500rs per month and I have 5 days working a week.
College Events
Events are Annual day where all the singing dance act performance are held then each year there is a freshers party for the new joinees and there is a fairwell party for last year students and some technical events such as technova etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive because the fees is 65000 per year which is too high relatedbto other colleges in our city which have a relatively low fee structure than my college every person who has the will to study cant afford this college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are there and they all are government funded scholarships. I myself was taking EBC which is economically backward class where my fees were reduced to 50% and the rest half was paid by government.
Campus Life
Yes, labs are adequate for our course and sports was only held once in a year where there were many different types of sports to chose from and development of students in all sections is done pretty well.
Alumni/Alumna
As you can expect seniors from Kolhapur city can only do ragging and can abuse the young new students no seniour will ever help in our college so forget about the help part and alumni network is also not good.
Admission
Through CAP round all students fill those forms selecting there favorable colleges and then the colleges are alloted on the merit list then we can either choose the college we want or the college tells us which colleges are allorable to us on our previous marks.
Faculty
The college faculty is good no doubt but it can suerly improve as the competing colleges have better faculty in our city whose staff take extra tutions and the students from our college attend the tutions from the faculty of other colleges.
