Remarks

There are many positive as well as negative remarks for my college. Positive remark is college fees is very low and infrastructure is good, the teaching faculty is very good. Negative remarks are college canteen can be better and there is no air-conditioned room in college

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams are conducted semester wise. 2 sem in 1 year. The course structure is CBCS. 4 subject in every semester. The course curriculum is good and easy. There are many societies in college. One can join in any of them and do work with them.

Placement Experience

The college offers very good placement for commerce student. All the big 4 companies for commerce come and many other companies, new startups etc. The college has a internship cell which helps students to do internship in very good companies

College Events

The college have many events like annual fest, annual day, sports day, dance competition, debates, mock stocks, gameing competition and many more events. And there is also a scholorship programe where toppers get scholorships

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible and afdordable and the students who are from sc/st/pwd quota get admissions for almost free. And they get all the study materials from the college itself. The college provides laptops on issue basis also

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholorships to pwd/st/sc category students and also to the students who topped there fields. The college however doesn't provide any loan facility. I am a general category student and I didn't get any scholarship

Campus Life

The college have various extracurricular activities like dance, drama, debate and sports there are many sports like basketball, football, cricket, table tennis ,carrom, chess, volleyball and many more. College also have a NCC society as well

Alumni/Alumna

The college senior students and very good and cooperative. There is no ragging in the college and they help freshers too. The college has some notable alumni as well like Siddharth Malhotra, bhuvan bam, shoojit sarkar etc

Admission

I got admission on merit based. The process is easy one have to go to college to submit documents and annual fees. And the admission done. Admission process in one have to check the merit list that is he eligible to get admitted in college if yes he have to come to college and submit documents

Faculty

The college faculty is very good. All the teachers have phd in there respective field. The teachers are very co-operative and help student in every way possible. The teachers are highly educated there.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
