Remarks
Social interaction is the main positive thing and gender equality. We've anti ragging committee so no problem of ragging. Coming to negative part, the only negative I've seen so far is fund collecting from the University, they delay a lot as is it's central government staff, they're lazy.
Course Curriculum Overview
That was informative and less academic where we learn live case study. Exam structure is as usual as University pattern but a bit different where they see the content and how people answer the question than the mug up answers.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunity, there are placements and job opportunity but they give low salary like 5 Lakhs per annum which is nowhere near IIMs but there are people who are placed for 9 to 12 Lakhs package. As I am a fresher I'm still not having an idea what exactly is going to happen. Pondicherry University don't provide any internship for MBA but they do for science stream students like MSc Chemistry and stipend can't be expected.
College Events
As for MBA, they conduct a big event called Synapse where many people from industry come and take part by which students can make them impress or exposure can be happening which is good for both students and University.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I don't think any college offers MBA for such an affordable fee which is 1.45 Lakhs for the entire course. So it's both feasible and worth for money and hostel also costs less compared to other colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
About scholarship, they provide 750 per month for top 20 students and 10k , 7.5k , 5k for top 3 students respectively. As it's a Central government University every bank gives loan for students and as it's less than 2 lakhs they don't ask for any collateral.
Campus Life
They have a beautiful lab which is not used often and extracurricular activities such as every week we've some guest lecture where people form industry come by which we can learn many things and they provide NCC and NSS. There is separate department for sports and cultural activities which can be participated.
Alumni/Alumna
Our alumni is strong, many CEO and share holders are our alumni for example Paytm shareholder is our alumni. We conduct alumni meet every year which is also a good opportunity to impress them for placements.
Admission
CAT, we had both personal interview and group discussion for our entrance and they checked our CAT score and they don't really care about that, what they cared was how we speak and which is totally true because if we go to some industry or jobs, there marks are not important but talent.
Faculty
They are friendly and they want us to shine in the market. They do some extra efforts to get that point. They are central government staff, it's not mandatory to do stuff like that, but they do because they care for us.
