PU MBA Fees
The MBA programme at Pondicherry University is one of the most cost-effective full-time MBA programmes offered by a central university in India. The total tuition fee for Indian students for the entire 2-year (4-semester) programme is Rs. 32,000 (Rs. 8,000 per semester). In addition to tuition, students pay a one-time admission fee, special fees, and other charges in the first semester, making the first-semester payment approximately Rs. 68,000-75,000. The total academic fee for the full course is approximately Rs. 1.46 Lakhs. Hostel accommodation is optional and subject to availability.

- Hostel accommodation is not mandatory; it is subject to availability and allotted on the recommendation of the Head of Department. Preference is given to students from distant places.
- Hostel fees include Room Rent (Rs. 900/year for PG students), General Amenities Fund (Rs. 700/year), Establishment Charges (Rs. 300/year), and Application Fee (Rs. 75, one-time). Mess fees are paid separately each semester (approximately Rs. 15,000-19,000 per semester).
- A refundable caution deposit of Rs. 3,000 is payable at the time of hostel admission (refunded on vacating).
- SC/ST students are exempt from room rent. Differently-abled students receive rent-free accommodation.
- Exam fees are paid separately (approximately Rs. 1,700-2,500 per semester).
- No EMI option is officially mentioned; fees are payable at the beginning of each semester.
- Fee figures are based on 2025-26 data; 2026-27 fees may be marginally revised.
